Although it seems like a real challenge to the average person, the Rubix Cube has been solved in as little as 6 seconds. The current World Record time of 5.66 seconds was set by an Australian teenager named Feliks Zemdegs in 2011.

In competitions known as Speedcubing, contestants compete to solve the cube in different ways. Some of the methods include blindfolded, underwater in a single breath, using one hand, and even solving with their feet.
