Like many other motorsports, rally racing is an exercise in managing lightning quick speeds and small mechanical adjustments. A large percentage of rally fans probably enjoy the thrill and adrenaline necessary to achieve a balance of those two seemingly conflicting objectives, and then again, another large percentage of fans are really there to see rally car crashes in which stuff done gets smashed up real good. (Note: improper “redneck” grammar added for stereotypical affect; no overt offense to NASCAR or other racing fans intended. Alright, maybe a little.) Let's examine the crashing aspect of the sport.
