As headliners of the 2012 Festival, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre invited a hologram of the deceased Tupac Shakur on stage to perform two of his hits, “Hail Mary” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted”.

Past headliners have included Prince, Eminem, Oasis, Madonna, Kanye West, Rage Against the Machine, Bjork, The Strokes, Daft Punk, Beastie Boys, Nine Inch Nails, The Chemical Brothers. Several bands have reunited on the Coachella stages over the years. Some of the biggest acts to reunite include Jane’s Addiction in 2001, Siouxsie and the Banshees in 2002, Iggy Pop and the Stooges in 2003, and The Pixies in 2004.
