So how does one succeed in executing the buttered floor prank? The first deciding factor is the amount of floor space that needs to be covered.  If it’s a small area, then a stick of butter wouldn’t be a bad way to go because it will be less mess for the prankster. However, if it is a large floor space, then nothing beats a big tub o’ butter. Country Crock gives a lot of bang for the buck, but any bucket of oleo will do. Unless the prankster has dry skin and needs a little bit of extra moisturizer for their hands, it’s best to use plastic gloves when applying the butter. Rub it on in a large circular motion. Just remember: Butter on, butter off. The final step is to set up the video camera in an inconspicuous place. And don’t forget to hit the record button.
