Burnouts are stunts performed in a car during which the driver makes his wheels spin rapidly without the car moving forward. There are number of scenarios in which a driver may feel compelled to perform a burnout. One such occasion is when a driver is stopped at a traffic light and decides that it would be a great opportunity to show off his powerful his car is by burning out when the light turns green and speeding off into the distance. The driver is even more likely to perform a burnout in this specific scenario when there are one or more attractive females in the immediate vicinity of his car.
Another occasion during which a driver may execute a burnout is at a moderate- to-large-sized gathering of drivers and their cars. In such a setting, drivers feel the need to show off to their fellow car enthusiasts, often resulting in a resounding chorus of burnouts occurring one after another, or in some cases all at once. Though outside observers viewing such a spectacle may be annoyed by the deafening noise of a half dozen tires screeching against the ground, this sound is like beautiful music to those who truly appreciate automobiles.
