Broken Bones
Broken bones are bones that have been broken in some way, shape, or form. Broken bones typically arise from an accident or some other physical misfortune that leads to an abnormal amount of pressure being applied to one or more bones, thus resulting in their breakage. Although it is morbid and often shocking to witness bones breaking, videos of such incidents are popular among certain portions of the Internet community.

More Info About Broken Bones
There are a number of scenarios in which an individual may break one or more of bones. Oftentimes, broken bones are the result of some act of stupidity designed to demonstrate one’s bravado or physical ability. An individual may, for instance, attempt to jump off a roof and break his or her ankle upon impact.
In other cases, broken bones are caused by sports-related accidents, such as when soccer players break their legs. Bone breakages that occur during the course of a sporting event are often particularly brutal, as they take place at a time when the individual who sustains the injury is exerting a significant degree of physical effort in one direction, which is then counteracted by an object or another person exerting energy in the opposite direction. This occasionally results in breakages that twist an individual’s limb at an abnormal angle, such as one’s leg facing backwards. Oddly enough, these are also the most entertaining injuries to watch in video form, as they make the viewer cringe and occasionally vomit.
