Break users (and internet commenters) wasted no time adopting the “Boom Headshot!” slogan and adapting it to use on these everyday headshots. By now, thousands upon thousands of people have commented “Boom Headshot” anytime a person has gotten hit in the head in a video on the internet. Like the obligatory “Thanks, officer” after an officer has given you a ticket, “Boom, headshot!” is a response that is hard-coded into our DNA.
