Since the 1860’s baseball has been seen as the national past time of the United States. As with any event that pits young men against each other, eventually tempers will rise and occasionally result in fighting. These bench clearing brawls can be brutal affairs or take a more calm turn. Both extremes are shown in the minor league and Japanese brawl videos below. Coaches want to get in on the action too. Of course baseball fights are hardly limited to the field of play. Many of the best baseball fights come from the fans. Angry drunken sociopaths with a bone to pick find easy targets in fans of opposing teams. The "huge fan brawl" video highlights a state wide rivalry between Giants and Dodgers fans. Proof that the 7th inning stretch needs to be no longer than 5 minutes or mayhem ensues. But these rivalry fights are hardly limited to the West coast. As evidenced in the video above when Phillies and Yankees fans decide to fight, they truly commit to having an all out brawl.
