  This happens: I worked at a service station in high school where the US Postal Service bought gas. One of the mail carrier filled up the mail mobile one day and did this. Pulled the hose off, fucked up the pump and the gas neck on his vehicle. Big mess.

  DUDE!!!: I actually saw this happen once!!! We made a pit stop, and watched this lady come out from the store, get in, and leave. It didn't rip the hose off, though. It just broke the metal nozzle off. And she stopped right away. This chick's out on the highway. I bet the only reason she stopped is the "Check Engine" light came on, because the gas cap isn't on.

  HAHA I almost did that the other day: But thats because I live in Jersey, and we don't have to pump shit. I went to go take a piss and get something to eat, and i came out thinking the guy (after being in there for 5 minutes) would of taken the nozzle out, being that there was NOBODY THERE...fortunatly my friend told me, but he was tempted to just let it go and see what happened next...nothing better than good friends!

  Could happen: I've seen a car driving out of a gas station with part of the hose hanging out of the tank like this. The hose has a quick disconnect for this reason.
