I live in western Canada where there are moose (almost hit one once when it ran out in front of my car). Moose are foul tempered animals and this is pretty much what they CAN and WILL do to your car if you piss them off.

Small bull moose (+/- 1000lbs) ran out in front of my truck... truck was totaled... moose died and so would I if it hadn't landed exactly the way it did on my windshield... 1000lbs of meat on your lap even at 35 mph can be quite fatal
I live in west central New Hampshire and have hit a moose, my truck was totaled and the moose died... i should have died except for a freak way the moose landed on my windshield. Moose have long legs and can weigh 2000 lbs... a ton of meat through your windshield at ?? mph is not pretty

@Jjinn111Yeah, a giant mound of muscle as heavy as or heavier than your car. How could that wreck a car?

@Coinnoch coinnoch is right, a friend of mine was driving and stopped to look at a moose, and when his truck was stationary, the moose charged and rolled the car with its antlers

@Coinnochpday25, that was probably a disguised rhino. I've heard they often do that!
