  Ok I researched this, it turns out that when it is female vs female the Tiger usually wins because the Tiger is larger. However male Lions usually defeat male Tigers because they are designed to fight other male Lions and as such a lot of their muscle mass is concentrated in their front paws for combat, where as tigers have it concentrated more evenly front and back. However in this case the Tiger is clearly so much larger and stronger, I'd have to give it to the Tiger

  Lions are bad ass but, yeah, the tiger is bigger and it probably hunts more prey solo than the lion does, so it makes good practice for the fight.

  TIGER will always win. A mature male tiger can weigh over 950lbs. Lions only get upto 750lbs. bigger is better.
