  actually it's a bathynomous, a giant isopd. small ones are found in coastal waters bu this giant one was found a few miles down on the bottom of the ocean. They're scavengers and are related to wood lice and horseshoe crabs. very ancient!

  its the exothermic shell fish thats in Dan Browns novel, i forget the name though in the book Nasa gets fooled that there is a meteorite that had fossils in it; hence aliens then they find out its a hoax.
