  sweet...: i thought they breached just cause it was fun, or theyre trying to signal other whales... never heard that they did it before diving... oh well, looks cool to me... nice shot...

  Oh, it's real...: I was the one who submitted this picture...I've got plenty more to prove it. The whale was not that close to shore...the picture was taken zoomed in 300mm.

  Well...: Whales have been known to become confused sometimes....ya heard the story about that one that went up the River Thames recently surely...Died because it got confused by currents

  Depth....: Depends on where you talk about, Cayman Brac it is 1,500 feet deep only 150 yards off shore. (great wall dives)

  Not sure: I am an animal behaviorist, and I think it might be fake. A whale of that size will only breach when its going to deep dive, and it way to close to shore to deep dive!!

  surfer: I was surfing out there that day...a little whale was about 50 ft from me...I was trying to figure out what it was for like 30 min....then I saw water coming out of a blow hole way out.
