  nope its a cloud, not a boom: not a snoic boom. its deals with humidity in the air and the planes end up creating their own clounds from the flow of air over and underneath the wings. cool pic but not a sonic boom, thats a common mistake

  Like I said: When the airplane breaks the sound barrier it creates a shock wave. That shock wave has a very low pressure relative to the pressure before the shock wave. The white stuff compressed air or a cloud in a sense. It was created by the surrounding high pressure region. SHOCK WAVE, google it! Zangief rocks all of you, he can shoot lasers from his chest fur. Just like Chun-Li throws her bracelets. Dam you people don't know shit.

  The sonic boom...: is the sound that is produced by the plane breaking the sound barrier (750ish miles per hour). I have no clue what the spiral is, but I doubt it is a sonic boom, as there shouldn't be a visible effect when the sound barrier is broken (it's just sound). Might be just water vapor forming O_o

  thank you.: RXmc99....the sound barrier is higher than 300mph, its more in the range of 700. some cars get get going 300mph. umm i was the first to say they were breaking the sound barrier..yay..lol.

  idiots: you guys are all wrong, im an aerospace engineer (or will be in 1 year) and this has nothing really to do with the sound barrier, it has everything to do with relative humidity, just google it, its not that difficult the "white thing" is a condensation cloud

  Herdo: No, Guile does not break the sound barrier. That attack takes a few seconds to go across the screen and besides, when Guile launches that attack you can hear it as soon as it leaves his hands. Sonic boom was just a name given to his externally concentrated chi energy, like Ryu and Ken's fireball(ha-do-ken). Guile sucks anyway. M. Bison is all that.
