The photo was taken in Ponte Vedra, FL. I know the photographer through my father (who is another very good photographer). I am the reason this picture is circulating the internet! :) It is an absolutely beautiful and historic photo. For the record, it's not photoshopped at all.

@VIROLOKOShuttle launch pic most likely taken from the bridge leading into Flagler Beach, FL which is about 30-40 mins away from Kennedy Space Center. How do I know? My parents live a town over.

@VIROLOKOi dont think it is a suttle becaus the object making the light is at the bottom with a tale goint up wards you can because of how the light is brighter there and is fadding at the top...

@VIROLOKOevolutions right, it's just a time elapsed photo of the last night shuttle launch on feb. 8. you can tell cause the stars are elongated.
