its real: I just watched it to check it out... In the opening scene in the apartment they are not there. Then when they repeat the scene at the begining of "the bonnie situation," the holes are there before the shots are fired. As much as i love him i must say Tarantino did fuck it up. My guess is they had to reshoot the scene and because it was such a low budget film they decided against repairing the wall

honestly: i could be wrong but pulp fiction jumps back and fourth several times and this one of the scenes where that happens although the audience didnt know why they were there at first they were actually supposed to be there......... i dont see tarantino fucking up that bad
