  This is actually the statue in front of the Wallace memorial in Sterling, Scotland. It's right out in the open; I wonder if people had tried to tag it.

    @BarbarianBrainYeah, I've been there and seen it. I believe it was carved by a man who was battling cancer. It was his form of "therapy". He survived the cancer as of the time I was there in 2004. He modeled the statue after the movie, obviously. I found it to be a bit out of place at the monument.

    @BarbarianBrainYeah. I live about 5 minutes away from this statue. It caused a fuss when it was set up because its not a statue of William Wallace. Its a statue of a small, Australian racist taken from an awful, historically inaccurate, shit film. The residents of this town hate it and its been vandalised hundreds of times. So much hate has been directed towards it that its being removed if it has not already and rightfully so. Who wants a statue of Mel Gibson in their town?
