    @dirtylilmonkeyI have a scope on a 44 Mag.. I use it for deer hunting in heavily wooded areas. Plus you are hands free when climbing trees. However, I've only bagged two deer with it.

    @dirtylilmonkey not when your raging bull .454 shoots as flat as a .223 and at 3600fps. you can tag stuff at 200 yards with that 8in barrel. you try doing that with open sights
