i agree: this has to be a joke, because if not these guys are really f**king stupid. even with every reason you could think of how they made this not dangerous, its still a stupid thing to risk and would still have an amount of danger no matter what.

230V: it looks like a 230V outlet to, its 4 times as dangerus as the american 115V outlet. But still the earth socket its quite close to the hot wire so its probobly not as dangerus as it looks

...: maybe there's no chlorine, in which the pure water would not transfer the amps sufficiently. Stupid, don't guaranteed to be deadly.
TheSaleBoat - 2 years ago
@BennyVanDnow now now: just the salt from our skin will give the water the ability to transfer electricity
llamaz - 2 years ago
@BennyVanDmoron,: there are enough dissolved ions in tap water and enough on our skin to give conductivity.
2Toe - 2 years ago
@BennyVanDmaybe...: they're using distilled water, which doesnt conduct electricity....lol.

Electric Grill?: Anyone notice what was plugged in? If the surge protector wasn't bad enough, what is on the table is essentially an open electric heating element, or "super toaster".

No problem...: as long as there is no contact to ground. If the pool is insulated (i.e. rubber sides and no metal drain pipe), then there shouldn't be a problem.

Well...: Technically speaking they aren't really in much danger, because almost all european countries have laws that outdoor circuits have to have ground fault interruptors, meaning that if any water actually shorted the extension cord then the power would cut off instantly, and noone woulbe be harmed. It's still stupid though..
@TheSickness1001hmm..: no one*, would*
WichitaStu - 2 years ago
@TheSickness1001Not true.: A ground fault inerruptor only works when electricity is goes to ground by way of something other than the neutral. They could be hit with some pretty good juice and the GFI wouldn't even know it.
