Obviously rims, you can tell because the two flows come from each side of that axle. That last rim must be made of steel or something cuz it looks fine.

what burned out car morons? do you see the paint and such burnt up? thats oil and water mixed from the cracked engine header. Melted aluminum would never maintain such a degree to run like that. It would cool before reaching that length.

Mercury? Considering it's flowing from the burnt out shell of a car, I'd say that's melted and re-hardened aluminium, probably from the wheels or cylinder head.
