  my mom had a pet skunk when she was a kid. Had its scent gland removed and was a good pet. not much different then Ferrets today. Very smart friendly animal once trained.

  its a frowned upon surgeory for a vet to do, and if they accidentally squeeze the sack at anypoint in removal the whole clinic stinks.

  With scent sack removed, they actually make very good pets. Equivalent to a cat. Plus, you can really screw with people.
