Kudos. Still sounds like you're living in poverty, though. You are part of the 99% because you work three times as hard as someone 3 decades ago and still end up with the same thing.

Occupy Wall Street should be occupying their desk and earning money. lazy prats. they are complaining about the people that pay their living expenses and fuel the economy. if they weren't so laden with taxes they wouldn't be in this mess.

Just wait until you try to find a career. You'll probably be working that job you have now for several more years.

This is all a bunch of complaining - Doesn't matter what side your on. everyone is b*tch*ing. This should The focus should be on Washington, not Wallstreet. Our government enables bad behavior and makes policy decisions to satisfy lobbies. That needs to be fixed first

You obviously weren't born 50 years ago! your vision on living without materialistic things is good, but to not blame the government for things that hasn't effected you yet(e.g.try keeping the same job for 30 years, p.s. won't happen in this lifetime!), is a joke. If a person has never made one bad decision in their, which no one can make perfect decisions all the time, you must be dreaming... If you enjoy working your A$$ off, then it is YOUR decision!

It looks like he is one of the 99%, he just doesn't get it. The sad part is, tree hugging bastards stole the protests in USA and they don't know what they are talking about. This protests should be about finding the ones who where hiding the truth about the debts of our countries until it was too late, making gambling decisions on investments because they knew the state will bail them out. The most important thing is to get the politicians out of their pocket by lovering the amount of money you can raise

I've got to call bullshit on this. While I don't agree with the OWS stuff that much, there is no way in hell this guy paid for 90% of his tuition with scholarships. I had a near perfect GPA and was president of 4 clubs in high school and I went to one of the best high schools in the state. I also came from a single parent, low-income family. Combined with my high grades, this meant I was eligible for just about every scholarship under the sun. I went to a local public college (UMaine), but after 4 scholar

Dude has no concept of what OWS is about. These financial institutions have been robbing our country with the aid of our Politcians. These financial institutions have been gambling with millions of peoples life savings and retirement packages. They got too greedy and killed the worlds biggest, strongest economy. This isn't about handouts it's about opportunity. The opportunity for our youth to make a decent living in the future is crippled by the actions of wall st. Millions of people have lost their homes

And where did that money come from to cover 90% of your tuition? In the 1960's, someone could afford the tuition on their own working part-time at minimum wage. Seems a bit unfair for you to have to work 3 jobs just to pay off the last 10% of your college tuition, don't you think?

Corporations are sending our jobs overseas. Money has to be printed due to failing corporations (and the government that sucks them off). Meanwhile, the value of all the dollars he saved will be worthless soon, and his job will eventually be gone. His taxes are through the roof, so these corporations don't have to pay them. But I guess this short-sighted dummy would rather shoot himself in the foot.

...and as the corporations continue to send jobs overseas, and money has to be printed to keep them from going under because of their bad decisions, then all that money you save won't be worth dick. I wonder if this idiot realizes how much more money he would make, and how many more benefits he would have, if the system wasn't perverted so far in the top-tiers favor?

@Deadbird17  Just because a corporation has money does not mean it is yours, nor does it mean you deserve to be paid more for the work you do. It does not work that way. I corporation does not choose to send jobs overseas, but to compete it must. Who is really to blame? Is it just the corporations or maybe taxes and regulations too? What money are you talking about, the bailout is over, happened years ago. And what do we see now, more govm't regulations that will solve nothing, but instead make it hard to earn a buck.

I'm glad this person is okay with living in a 3rd world country. I bet he/she doesn't even have health insurance at that minimum wage job and will become a burden to the system once he/she is hit by a bus, gets cancer or gets shot during a home invasion (people are getting pretty desperate and will rob anyone). Sure, I saved up money myself to keep me and my boyfriend afloat while I get another job, we don't go anywhere and I cook daily until every last ingredient is gone, but you can't live like that fore
