alligator: Its a gator they were released for beaver population and were suppossed to die off in the cold winter but they didn't so they are still there. They are found all up the tennessee river and its tributaries

Not really: Looks to be about 11-12 feet, most grow to around 10-13. Largest on record was 19 feet.
