   There is a pair just like this at Busch Gardens in Tampa. The handler says they will be friends for life.

   Anatolian shepherd dogs are being trained to work the farms in Namibia to keep cheetahs out. Cheetahs will not even enter an area where Anatolian shepherds are working. It is all part of the work to save the ecosystem while keeping the local farmer's flocks and herds safe. Work is being done in the Cincinnati Zoo and San Diego, among others.

   I just saw these guys all grown up at the San Diego Zoo. The cheetah takes its cues from the dog. Dog likes people, cheetah doesn't rip people's faces off.
