dopes: Try that with a hair dryer not plugged into a GFCI outlet. The impurities in the water, namely the bleach and cleaner in it, with connect the circuit, causing the water to electrify, through the ladder and through your body. Learn before you issue opinions. Jeesh.
dopes: It's easy to see why so many people can be easily electrocuted if they actually believe aluminum doesn't conduct electricity. Aluminum isn't magnetic but it's used all over the place for current. Circuit boards use aluminum traces, the speaker wire for your entertainment center often is aluminum and of course, all those silly resistors and capacitors that make up all your electronics are made with aluminum leads. And who's the genius that says that there's no electricity if the drill isn't on? T

A Plumber should stick to his own shit,, ha ha: Ok this is a Plumber how canyou tell??? just read the comment from " Plunger" cause he sounds like one and this guy acts like one,,, #1 that ladder does conduct #2 he's barefoot #3 the drill has a metal casing #4 since it is plug in outside the room it is probably NOT GFCI protected (i know because i've seen this years ago and my pic is better) #5 he's soaked #6 the ladder in the pool probably has something to make it level which means it's not sturdy

Yes, there is current!: That drill is plugged into an extension cord which does have current, and the drill has current to it the trigger is an on/off switch. There is current in the drill.

whoa: how the hell is that ladder floating on top of the water
HallEffected - 2 years ago
you guys suck: there is no electrical current running through the drill unless he's got his finger on the trigger. if he dropped it nothing would happen except a ruined drill

...........: did you ever think he could have cut the power?????????????

Wow: This is hilarious.... How do you think he got there?!!!

wtf: He could slip off that ladder and the drill will electrocute him... unless the drill is plugged into a GFCI plug. The plug will trip and nothing will happen other than the drill getting ruined. And yes, the ladder is aluminum and yes it will conduct electricity. Service wire that goes from the outside service panel to the breaker panel inside a house uses aluminum wire to connect the 2. But hey, at least that guy is wearing glasses! He's thinking safety!

Aluminium: An aluminium ladder wont conduct electricity, but if he were to fall with the tool....
