It doesn't matter: It doesn't matter if the door opens the other way. It actually makes it worse that it opens inward, because when/if the cups fall, they will fall inside the room, dumping the contents toward the poor fucker opening the door. If they haven't set up some system that will dump the cups when the door is open, the guy still has to worry about carefully disarming the whole thing.
