People who are answering this don't understand that this is a paradox. For instance if you say 25% you'd realize there is two so it becomes fifty, so you go to select fifty, and guess what it's 25%. It's an infinite loop

Everybody got cough because the answers are in percentage but it could've been words like a) CAR b) HOUSE c) WINDOW d) CAR So you have to answer the question on the question witch is NOT a multiple choice answer it's a UNIQUE answer witch is 33.3% Here is the table of probability Answer 1 Answer 2 Answer 3 A) good A)wrong A) wrong B) wrong B)Good B) wrong C) wrong C)wrong C) good D) good D)wrong D) wrong 4 choices out of 12 give you the right answer therefore 33.3% chance

Right answer is: Who cares?

160% It is impossible to chose a random answer because the consious mind choses an answer that seems most plausable. No matter what answer you chose for the question, you will be 100% correct. There is no right or wrong answer because the percentage of the correct answer is irrelevant to the meaning of the question. Therefore 160% is the correct answer adding up to 25, 50, 60, and 25%. So therefore all answers are correct.

Its a moot point once you make a conscious decision it is no longer a random choice is is a specific choice and therefore the none of the above.
it no longer becomes random when you choose the answer it is a conscious decision therefore its a trick question Once you choose the question it moot.

Michael-Schmitt-784 is the only person that is right. The answer is not A,B,C, or D. The question in simple terms is the same as the game cups. As D is the same answer as A then we don't include it and so are left with three possible answers/3 cups, we don't know the right answer/what cup the pea is under so the chances of us being correct is - 1/3 or 33.3% recurring.

none of you idiutz understand this question. XZIB was kinda right, but since you'd have to choose the answer to this question at RANDOM, you actually don't have a choice, but since there are odds of actually getting it right, it's 1/4, since there's 2 25%'s it ups it to 50 because 25 would be impossible
watsHappenin - 7 months ago
its 50%. There is one in 4 chance of getting it right but 2 of the answers are 25% which is right so by definition "B" is right!
MikeNice - 7 months ago
The correct answer is 41.5% chance

@Xzib It's no question in therms of real probability because the sample space isn't defined correctly.

@Xzib It's a trick question. There is no right answer.

@why would you select two? Its always choose the best answer
@ It's not an infinite loop at all. Everybody got cough because the answers are in percentage but it could've been words like a) CAR b) HOUSE c) WINDOW d) CAR So you have to answer the question on the question witch is NOT a multiple choice answer it's a UNIQUE answer witch is 33.3%

Since B is the correct answer, you'd only have a 25% chance of landing on it at random.

1/3 of a chance. 3 possible answers, it doesn't say it has to be one of the ones given it just says if you pick one at random what are the chances of you picking the right one since 2 answers are the same in a 4 answer choice that combines them into one answer so 3 possible correct answers = 33.33333333% chance of a correct answer
@Michael-Schmitt-784lol no, imagine if A-C were right and D was wrong. That would not be fifty percent
@Michael-Schmitt-784lol no, imagine if A-C were correct and D wasn't. That is not fifty percent

In search of personal selfesteem you look too much into it and out side the box das confusing you'r selfs. The correct answer is B)50% Not 25 and not 75% or 0 ...
@ActionSequenceThey have given you a question with 4 possibilities.Even a kindergardener knows that if he doesnt know the answer if he pick's a random one the chance to win is 25% ... but they have given you two answers 25%,but you still dont know whats the real correct answer because you havent red and study (its like you have two posibly correct guesses) so by combining them you have a 50% chance to get the correct answer like if the question had two answer possibilyties.
@ActionSequence Since B is the correct answer, you only have a 25% chance of choosing it at random.

25% would be the correct answer, if there are four answers total, but there are two answers of 25%, so now there is a 50% chance, but there is also a 50% chance option, so now it's 75%, but now that it is 75%, the 50% and 25% answers are both incorrect, so now it's back to 25% etc. it's an impossible question.
@guitaristMath is an exact science dude."Impossible" are only the paradoxes, which are unexplained variables. And this is a joke
chaosd - 7 months ago
the answer is 0% because there is no correct answer listed.

its B
@nitsuabut then you only have a 25% chance of picking 50% as the correct answer. So it's can't be B because B is 50%. Actually there is no correct answer in the choices.
75%? i think..
75%?
