Big news in the world of sports, the U.S. Open in tennis started Aug. 29th and lasts until Sep 11th. When I said big news, I should clarify; I meant news nobody in sports really cares about. Seriously, I bet the U.S. Open ratings will be great during the opening weekend of the NFL season. Does anybody have any tennis players on their NFL fantasy teams? Didn't think so... I mean besides Serena Williams, she doesn't count Tell me with a straight face she couldn't pick you up at least 10 pts a game. For the 1 or 2 tennis fans out there, I'll sum up this year's US Open, it'll basically come down to some young Serbian guy vs. a Spanish or Swiss dude while all the American players take the final Sunday off and watch the NFL and cheer for their fantasy teams.
