Roger Ebert has apologized for making a stupid remark on Twitter about the death of Ryan Dunn but I doubt that apology will ever let Roger off the hook.

What’s your angle here Rog? My dog dies and you immediately tweet ‘Friends don’t let friends take their dog off leash’ or when Tom Cruise comes out of the closet you tweet ‘Movie stars don’t let movie stars sodomize young men’. I mean is nothing sacred, what’s next you tweet, ‘Friends don’t let friends watch Friends on DVD’ cause I will not have you speak badly about Friends. It’s perfect television.
