This is a transcript of Maundy Thursday on Newsfeed...Today is the Jewish Holiday of Passover, and this Thursday, the 21st is known by the Christian faith as Maundy Thursday. It is the feast commemorating the Last Supper, or more importantly for the Irish-Catholics, another day to get drunk for Jesus. I can say that I am Irish-Catholic. It’s my thing. In some more traditional cultures such as Malta, Maundy Thursday is celebrated by visiting 7 churches in one day, or as I like to call it, the most boring day of your life. This holiday falls in between Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, leading up to the very popular holiday and well known holiday… Sunday Fun-day… That’s what I call Easter.
