I’m Josh Macuga with newsfeed. Who out there saw Creature this weekend!? Ahh man nobody?! That makes sense cause it broke the record for lowest opening weekend for a movie released in more than 1500 theatres. It made 331 thousand dollars that’s an average of 6 people per screen nationwide. Sounds like the numbers for my one man John Stamos Tribute show… Have Mercy! Sydney Sheinberg, the main producer on Creature, said they were confident the movie would premiere well even though there were no print or TV advertisements of any kind. Sydney! The only industry that works like that is illegal narcotics come on! But I guess a guy like Sheinberg, who runs Bubble Factory productions, and who put out McHale’s Navy and the Flipper remake should have known that, right? I’m Josh Macuga and you’ve been fed.
