Some of the grammy winner’s lyrics critical of the war in Iraq, president George W. Bush and police brutality were cited as reasons not to invite him by the news network, FOX. The same FOX News that believes teachers are overpaid. Common was not bothered by the news tweeting, “apparently Sarah Palin and Fox News doesn’t like me.” The event will feature a poetry workshop, readings, and a concert featuring Common. And to the dismay of Fox, at no point will Common will pouring champagne on Michelle Obama and grinding on her.
