Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Cam Newton made his NFL debut on Sep 11th and had a pretty solid day across the board with an astounding 422 yards passing with 2 touch downs and 3 stolen laptops. I know… he stole way more in college. This season Cam is making 5 and a half million dollars which is lucky because it’s 5 million more than he was making in college at Auburn. Thank God he didn’t have to sign for the rookie minimum of 375 thousand… that would have been a brutal pay cut for him. Auburn University must be proud of how well he helped them to a National Championship hopefully they enjoy that feeling for the next few months until the NCAA takes it all away.
