On Sunday morning, world-renowned Chinese artist and political activist Ai Wei Wei was detained by Beijing officials as he boarded a plane for Hong Kong. When asked why, the Chinese government responded with, “Ahhh because we’re China and we do what we want… duh.” Al Wei Wei is known for creating eccentric architectural art pieces that stimulate conversation about so social injustices. Recently, he bulldozed his art studio in protest of the government. This is very similar to what self-renowned American truth artist Charlie Sheen is attempting to by bull-dozing his career.
