Fishermen in Karachi, Pakistan on Tuesday used 5 cranes to bring to shore the enormous carcass of a 40-foot whale shark, discovered 10 days earlier floating unconscious in the Arabian Sea. Holy crap. That’s a pretty big whale... shark?!? Why do people even go into the ocean!?! The fishermen who discovered the shark did end up selling its body for a reported 1.7 million Rupees, a currency I previously thought only existed in Zelda games. I’m Jonathan London and I’m a nerd.
