All I can say is, Why??: Why make these movies to begin with? We know what the 'feel good' films are for. We know what the docs are for. We know the purpose and intended affect of all other movie types but I can't figure out if the intended effect of this idiot genre is what it seems: to make it's audience go completely cold and dead inside. It's traumatizing and all in all is not even good filmmaking.

CHHH NICE ONE: WOW I GUESS THEY'LL JUST GONNA KEEP MAKING MOVIES THAT ALL LOOK THE SAME LIKE HOSTEL,SAW,TURISTA,AND OTHER MESSED UP MOVIES LIKE THAT. I GUESS THEY'RE JUST GIVING SERIAL KILLERS NEW IDEAS TO KILL PEOPLE

Stupid: OH WOW THERE'S GORE- I'M DUBBING THIS A CULT CLASSIC. This is what happens when 14 year olds begin writing horror films. Thank you Eli Roth for ruining the genre. Seriously, how many of you have genuine been SCARED in the theater since the turn of the century? All style, no flair.

Shockingly un-shocking.: I saw this last night, and wasn't shocked in a single scene. Hostle was more brutal. Why they couldn't show it in mainstreme cinema, i don't know. Makes it more of a big deal i guess. But have they not seen Irreversible?

  @a_dubaw_z on mainstream tv? you mean so kids can watch?: the day something like this shows up on mainstream tv in my world I will actually get off my lazy american ass and begin rallying and petitioning in the street. If I want to see human depravity and madness, I'll watch world news. I get enough of it there and don't need to pay to see the worst of human nature amped to the max for profit.
