I'm no mechanic but I would at least remember to make sure the engine is off and the car isn't in gear before I went to work. The car's owner is gonna be confused when he gets his bill for an oil change and finds out he needed new brakes, a new windshield, a paint job, a bumper and for some reason a garage door.

hey: a manual car can start witount the clutch if the solonoid goes bad and they hey is on the starter will move the car. i know this from personal experiance on my 5.0 mustang and the 3 broken toes and rib my friend recived is an everyday reminder

In gear: Definitely started up in gear, Indicator must've been knocked after it crashed and stalled. Nobody could push a car that hard, and it's not a dumb Brit as the car is LHD.
