That was worth the 9+ minutes. One question: What powered the motor? I didn't see any spark plugs. Was it air power?

its running off of fuel you can here it firing if u knew anything about engines u would know this is clearly direct rail fuel injected not compressed air.

      LeadHead143 - 5 months ago

@punkazz909no need to be a smartass... especially when your wrong. runs on injected compressed air. there is clearly no ignition system.

      Jibber00 - 4 months ago

@LeadHead143Diesel also does not require a source of ignition, so punkazz909 could be right....

      SRHProductions - 3 months ago

@Jibber00Diesel requires electric glow / constant spark to ignite the fuel... there is nothing to generate spark / glow, also you will notice he used no gaskets meaning there is no pressure in the cylinders... all air powered, noise you hear is the valves tapping when the pistons hit top dead center

This isn't really an engine. It seems to run off of compressed air. It has no ignition source or fuel. Calling this an engine is like calling a pin wheel a fan. But clearly incredible machining and engineering skills! Great work !

@there is more than one kind of engine moron not just combustion engines.

    • fwapnomnom

      fwapnomnom - 6 months ago

@NomaddafIt is an engine in that it takes advantage of flow work. Think about the output at the crankshaft / flywheel... same net result. It isn't something you would go power your car with per se, but theoretically you could have a tank of compressed air that would in fact power your car where you were going. There's a reason this doesn't happen in reality however.
