That was worth the 9+ minutes. One question: What powered the motor? I didn't see any spark plugs. Was it air power?

look dumb asses you do not need an ignition system to run an engine...diesels rely on detonation to occur for the poison to be pushed back down...the "glow plugs" are there to heat up the fuel so it dose not need to be compressed as much to detonate...

This is very cool, but not a working engine. It doesn't have spark plugs or a fuel system. I am assuming it is "running" on compressed air. Also no gaskets or a contained oil system. Very neat tho.. wish I could do machine shop work like that! :)

its running off of fuel you can here it firing if u knew anything about engines u would know this is clearly direct rail fuel injected not compressed air.

@Jibber00 Diesel requires electric glow / constant spark to ignite the fuel... there is nothing to generate spark / glow, also you will notice he used no gaskets meaning there is no pressure in the cylinders... all air powered, noise you hear is the valves tapping when the pistons hit top dead center
