An entry level sign guy makes minimum wage. This guy has spent years mastering his profession and is considered in his field as the best sign guy in the world and now makes 25 cents over minimum wage.

    there are about 600 of us nationwide. not the same guy in phoenix, i was there last week. we spun for Playboy one night and Snoop Dogg the next night, then had our national competition at The W in Scottsdale. and $15/hr is a solid rate of pay for a lot of Americans. everyone's getting laid off! sign spinners luckily have jobs and happily work very hard! damuindabu is right, i know tons of kids with great degrees that can't find work right now...$15/hr > $0/hr!!! beats the hell out of making lattes a

     There's a better kid in Las Vegas , Blue Diamond and Buffalo in Mountains Edge. He does kick flips with the sign and stalls it on the back of his neck and spins it up with his feet.

     That guy is here in Phoenix, AZ. That was either 51st ave or 43rd ave and W. Indian School. I held up traffic at the red light watching him. Much cooler in person, and frankly the only sign spinner I've ever seen.

     This guy makes about $15/hr. Don't hate. And he's not the best in the world. His company, AArrow Ads, has opened franchises in Vietnam and South Korea. They had a national championship last week to find the best sign spinner in the world. http://video.google.com/vide doesn't always have to make sense to YOU. Think about how many millions of dollars professional athletes get paid to wear a certain shoe or drink a certain beverage...and you all lap it up. It's ADVERTISING. Get a reality check.

     Unlike the cars that pass him in 3 seconds, I had a full 27 seconds to try and actually read the sign and failed.... Very usefulll.... Not... A wooden stick can do his job better then he does and it's free, has no breaks and doesnt whine if a car hits him...
