@Frekactually it was....: what happened was that they were stealing elcectricity from the tri county electric company because they didn't want to pay for it making it obvious they had a huge grow operation. when they looked into it further they realized something was up whent he house was unfurnished and no one was living in the house

Actually: The people were let off all charges. I read this in my PoliSci book: the court made the judgement of "unlawful police surveillance" -or something to that matter. Stating that the use of infrared heat surveillance was unlawful that it was too closely being watched. It's like saying, if the police spy on you with advanced technology is against the law. I would reference it but I sold the book back last semester
