lol the exact same thing happened to me once when i was in Denmark outside the royal castle, Amalienborg, only we were hassling the tin soldiers, cos they couldn't move right? well turns out the time was like a minute to eight, and every half or full hour they rotate, when the church bells ring...scared the living crap out of me, i'll tell you that! :P

@ManniMann @chanieldang It's not their entire job, it,s a part of being a soldier there. If you are a royal soldier you have to do it sometimes. They are not there for the tourists, but to protect the royal family.

Its called discipline; imagine yourselves playing your favorite video game while a steaming hot pizza sits next to you. But you HAVE to finish this level and that pizza is going to have to wait. Thats as close as you'll ever get to understanding a soldiers discipline.

@whitesite It's not at Windsor castle, but he is a British guard, it's at Horse guards in London. He's one of the Life guards.
