  This was most definitely the cops fault. Emergency vehicles are not permitted to break the posted speed limit, OR drive on the opposing lane unless the road is shut down and traffic is confirmed clear. The law does state that people must yield to emergency vehicles,, but this cop #1 was speeding, #2 didn't have a siren on , and #3 he was in the wrong lane.

    @Gr8stuffI guess we are watching two different videos? His lights and siren were in fact on. And you are ALLOWED to speed, as well as go into the oncoming lane. It is still the officers fault though. You are allowed to drive 10 over the posted speed limit, and you are allowed to go into the oncoming lane if you act with due regard for other drivers, unfortunately he didn't do so. Why I know? I'm a Firefighter/EMT, and an MP.

They give people shit for nuthin all the time... ive only had 1 run in with him and it was over a safety chain on my towtruck...it was on right he pulled me over to check it then tried finding whatever else he could to try to get me...fu**in' ass

  Am I the only one thinks the cop was the tw@t? Maybe it's different in the US but in Ireland (and Britain), having flashy lights doesn't permit you to driuve like an A-hole, you still have to adhere to the rules of the road. They are just and added safety feature for when they do drive out side the rules of the road... but if they are involved in an accident they will still be in a huge amount of trouble!

  I'm hoping i'm not the only one here that realized that the cop was PROBABALY trying to go AROUND the dumbass that turned into him. Why would he have not slowed down when the other car did if he intended to stop that car? Still stupid as sin for the person to turn like that with a cop coming up behind... which i don't see how they couldn't have seen, unless it was some elderly driver. Those lights show up on EVERYTHING around them. trees, houses.... the inside of your own car.....

  A perfect example of a cop going to far. Doing 60 MPH in a 35 MPH zone and cutting across a double yellow to get around that car was just plain stupid. Hopefully he didnt kill anyone. Id love to know what he was rushing after and what the call was. Probably a cat in a tree. There are so many pigs on the payroll that they are all dying for some action when it goes down. Often they kill innocents because of their own ego.
