  4 all they have doubt...i done it 5 min ago in my bar...it works... let the alcoholic drink on the table and full cover watter glass with any smooth, thin, plastic thing then overlap glasses and pull a bit that plastic just to be an slot between and the process will run. u can use any type of alchohol but is more evident with a strong coloured 1. enjoy

    @eliwolferNo, that wouldn't work, that is osmosis/diffusion you are thinking of and it would require a semipermeable membrane. This here is a demonstration of density (water is more dense that ethanol), not an ion gradient, you could do this with vegetable oil and water however.
