I have never seen anything like this before. In the middle of the night a manhole erupts gushing millions of gallons of water onto the highway.

THis is the result of a combined sewer. Storm water and waste water should be handled by two seperate systems. However, some cities start out with a combined system. After expansion of the city, as more green space turns to streets and parkinglots, the amount of rain water being diverted becomes too much for these combined systems, resulting in huge guisers of mixed water. Many cities are now trying to identify and seperate these systems.

It also looks like the manhole cover actually blew right off and nailed the guy's truck square on the nose of the thing. He's damn lucky to be "a little" wet than dead because it could have easily just struck the cab of the truck..... O_o Wonder what happened to make it go "Kurplueey" lol.

Oh my God that's hilarious! The best part is when the guy in the truck is trying to survey the damage to his vehicle and then it erupts again! All you see is him try to scramble away but low and behold.....nope. Just can't get away from the torrent of manhole water. lmfao! _

i love how: when theres "millions" of gallons of water is gushing out and everyone keeps on driving straight through it.... if i saw that happening i would stop pull out a blunt and and my porn magizane thats in the golve department and once the water is done GUSHING out like your moms vagina was doing last night then i would have drove off but thats just me

yep for real: This actually happened in Calgary Alberta Canada on Deer foot trail they had a record rainfall that summer and yes we have cars and sewers cause we have running water and cars lol went to Vancouver washington a few years ago met a really cool couple and they had to ask if we had running water lol please are there really people that think that still with all the technology????

  @grandmercls...: Why do people always insist that videos are fake when they have no proof that they are? If you notice, this is a security camera feed. And coming from a editor, believe me, trying to work in an explosion of water from a manhole not once but twice, with moving cars that react to what happens, is a difficult feat. Conslusion; you're fake, get off break!
