Here is a brand new Viper crashing during a turn due to brake failure. Personally, I think the brakes were just an excuse for poorly timed turn.

    jesus, any idiot knows to take a car slow till you get used to it. top of 4th on a motor that v10, he has to going over 60. that turn seemed really sharp, like so sharp it should of been taken way slower, even in drift enviroment, which a viper is not set up for. I bet anything it was completely the fault of the driver, Mopar isn't going to design a car like that with as much as the dump into each one to have it's Brakes fail so easily. besides, did anyone else see him down shift way to late?

    Oops: Looks like the ABS was turned off. IMO this douche just went into the corner too hot; no way a shitty Viper could dump that much speed in time; too heavy.

      @lemonsquashyou dont know: Don't watch much racing do you? Cars made to go fast also stop fast the results of huge brakes and racing tires along side of a stiff racing suspension. that was a pretty long straight so he would go fast. a brake line can explode at random no warning signs. so know what your talking about

    ..: that instructor in the passenger seat was badass.. after doing like 3 flips out of 4th in a v10-12 all he has to say is, "turn the ignition off" LOOL

    Attention all break race car drivers: You aren't race car drivers. People need to stop assuming that they know how to drive. He lost his brakes, plain and simple. Looks like it was taped at a racing school, hence the instructor.

    Anyone that knows how to drive properly: Knows you do your braking before you get to the corner and when your halfway threw the corner you should be on the gas again

      @Saxon308youre partially right: but its called the apex and you brake before a turn and hold a steady speed until the APEX then acelerate

      @beebz426what?: turn ignition off...that would be the worst thing you can do in that situation, you lose everything then, such as hmmm your power steering, the best thing would of been to hard down shift, to slow the car down

      @beebz426hey cold pyro: are you a retard, or just stupid, the car was stopped and he didnt want it to continue pumping fuel through the engine, and the electical would have still been active. but the emergency shut off valve would have automatically shut off anyway when the airbags went off...dderrrrrrr!

      @beebz426Hahaha: Hahaha holy shit that cracked me up. "Turn the ignition off." "I can't, I'll lose power steering!". Plus power steering is only difficult when driving at walking speed. When you're going that fast you wouldn't notice a thing.
