A festival named dashuhua commemorates Chinese farmers who were too poor to afford fireworks for a festival and used molten lead instead. The results are blazing and amazing.

     Hmm.....people clamoring together to splash molten metal around. This sounds like a really stupid idea. Entertaining, but stupid. Fortunately, China has the population to support such activities.
