@modusoperandi909I agree with flankston. France had very little to do with America winning its freedom. Although they did give us a substantial mount of reinforcements, it didn't make much of a difference. The guerrilla tactics practiced by the Americans and a longer range weaponry, undoubtedly gave the Americans the upper hand despite the "advanced training" the British had. Besides, even if France didn't jump in, Britain had conflicts with half of Europe; somebody else would have helped if not the French.
