No one was killed during the making of this video....seriously this happened on the Long Island Expwy either in '06 or '07 and the guy in the black car survived with minor injuries. The car kinda folded around him.

According to news reports, this wasnt the driver's fault - he stepped on the brakes and the truck yanked right. This is probably a mechanical problem with the tractor, not the trailer, that was either due to improper repair practices or a sudden failure. Judging by how the driver decribed the steering wheel as locking in one position, i'd say the steer axle left side brakes locked up and forced the truck to do what it did.
