I cut a tree down next to my house this spring, it was leaning toward the house and was twice as big as that pine. With a logging rope tied at the top with a few thousand lbs of tension, the tree fell exactly where I planned it.

Wow, how dumb. We've had tree cutters remove trees next to the house, big huge pines. It didn't cost that much, and they roped the trees to make sure they fell the direction they wanted. They fell them exactly where they wanted. There were two that leaned toward the house too. I wonder if they think it was cheap now.

I saw a house with a tree smashed into it. A neighbor was laughing the guy called a tree service to give a quote to cut it down. $1500.00. So the guy saved 1350.00 bucks by having two good ole boys do it for 150.00. After they destroyed the house they wanted paid.
