  The car is actually a transformer: The doors were supposed to turn into arms as the rear wheels turn into legs. Then the car would then stand up on its nose and the back window would become the head. I hate it when those kits don't work as advertised.

    @bigboybowtiemanYour a dumbass: The brackets for the suspension links are welded to the axle and that it what tore off. Do you think those are super glued on?

    @bigboybowtiemanyou can see: the axle brackets still attached to the ladder bars, probably because the welds holding them to the axle broke.

  Broke the lilnk bars: the link bars keep the axel from twisting up. So when he punched it the torque rotated the pumpkin and snapped the link bars.... nothing to do with the drive shaft.

    @JohnNissanSo Fack!: LOL I know nothing about cars! But by all Laws in the USA. First he jumped out with out a Crash helmet on! By USA Law he had no fire sute on! I use to bring my girls to funny car races and once a car goes down 10 to 15 people run up with fire protection and first aid. In real life if the wheels popped off once the car hit the ground there would have been people all over! So Fack!!!!!

    @JohnNissanummm....look thru the window, he has a white: helmet on, takes seconds to take off...and if hes not sub 10 seconds in a 1/4, no fire suit is needed. looking at the poor engineering/welding....i doubt hes sub 10 anyway.

However, I worked two seasons at a very small ? mile track in South Dakota and all we had at the starting line was a four-wheeler, fire extinguishers and one first-aid person either working up in the tower or drag racing himself. None of us were trained in any aspect other than "on the job". Soooo, from my experiences I'd have to say this likely was NOT fake. Also, lowzone1 states "if he's not sub 10 seconds in a 1/4

  haha: damn chevy's, he actually broke the torque arm off of the rear axel (it keeps the axel from rotating under acceleration, obivously, this one didnt!) and the driveshaft fell out, or snaped like yuck fou said. i never like the torque arm set up on my trans am, (pretty much the same thing as this camaro) but i dont have it any more. and yeah, not really much to do with welding, cause that thing is bolted on. but i didnt expect the commentor to know that, so its okay
